Population of Muslim in Korea.

As I stated in my previous post, Islam has slowly begin to spread in Korea and surprisingly the number of citizens who converted to Islam has slowly begin to grow day by day Alhamdulillah. Here's one of the korean girl who I always followed up her activity through instagrams. She was a korean muslim and she teachs arabic in Seoul International Mosque. I was impressed by her good deeds in helping others to know more about Islam especially in Korea. In Korea there hasn't been open up much about Islam but with the help of Bora, they finally gets to open up their eyes on what is Islam actually mean to them. :)

Other than that she also sometimes update her followers on some new people who converted in Islam. As an instagrammers I must says, we are really proud and blessed at the same time when we get to know that we finally getting a new cousin as in Bahasa we said "Saudara sesama Islam" Bora has lots of followers in Instagram and most of them are from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Dhubai, Jordan and many more. DO follow her on Instagram people! You'll be amazed! Ig : Olaborasong.

Types of Religion in Korea.

In Korea they did not have an official religion like we have here in Malaysia. In Malaysia our official religion is Islam of course. Its different from them. They actually free in terms of religion but not to mention the most 3 fixed religion in Korea is Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam too.

Since the middle of the 20th century, however, Christianity has competed with Buddhism in South Korea, while religious practice has been suppressed in North Korea

While for Islam in Korea is practiced by about 45, 000 natives ( 0.09% of the population) in addition to some 100,000 foreign workers from Muslim countries.
Not to mention the number is slowly increasing each year as some of the Korean started to convert to Islam.

Introduction to Korea

"Korea" is the modern spelling of Corea, a name attested in English as early as 1614. As you guys knows. Korea is divided into two, which is South Korea and also North Korea but as for today I am only going to focusing on South Korea which is currently famous with Hallyu wave that has been spread widely to the whole world. As for now the population of Korean citizens have grown lots of number which is about 50 million in South Korea and 25 in North Korea. Besides that the number of foreigners living in Korea has also increased since the 20th century especially in South Korea where more than 1 million foreigners have lived there.

As you can see foreigners have begin to adapt to their life in Korea. They even loves their food and not to mention their culture. ( * "Korean most tempting food" coming soon!! )
