In Korea they did not have an official religion like we have here in Malaysia. In Malaysia our official religion is Islam of course. Its different from them. They actually free in terms of religion but not to mention the most 3 fixed religion in Korea is Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam too.
Since the middle of the 20th century, however, Christianity has competed with Buddhism in South Korea, while religious practice has been suppressed in North Korea.
While for Islam in Korea is practiced by about 45, 000 natives ( 0.09% of the population) in addition to some 100,000 foreign workers from Muslim countries.
Not to mention the number is slowly increasing each year as some of the Korean started to convert to Islam.
